Pamela Bianca Manalo was crowned as the new Miss Philippines-Universe during a Miss Philippines 2009 coronation night at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon city, metro Manila on March 8, 2009.
Pamela Manalo is an advertising college graduate from Assumption college, same school where i graduated.

Pamela Manalo beat 24 ladies. She will represent her country in the 58th Miss Universe 2009 in the Bahamas. The pageant will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 30, 2009.
About 80 countries and territories are expected to compete. The pageant will broadcast live on NBC and Telemundo.
Fashion is a never ending expedition. As a hot topic I would like to take a deeper look with her wardrobe is for this year’s Ms. Universe 2009.
The long gown is definitely far better than the gowns worn by the previous Misses Philippines Universe, I still feel there is missing on it. I guess there's something with the overwhelming slit that emphasizes long legs that Bianca has. Or is it because she has also a longer torso? Or the gown should be a little longer? I don't know since I am not good in designing gowns. Maybe you can help me figure it out. Pamela poses like Miriam with her long arms. She is trying to make her shoulder broader to highlight the curves of her body. Nice work Pamela and hope you will improve more.
